Wait time between first apointment and start of cycling.

Does anyone know on average how long it takes from your first clinic appointment until the start of an IVF cycle. I know 100% I am doing IVF because I am donating eggs in a shared cycle. I have had a laporscopy done three years ago and there were no signs of anything being wrong. I have already had a child now three years old. I have my first clinic appointment in a few days. I am wondering how long after that appointment before I will be able to start cycle. I do have very irregular periods with no know explenation, doctors have ran tests and never found anything wrong with me. I respond well to birth control pill it regulates my period. And I know that clomid works that is how I concieved my son. I am hoping to start cycling this summer because I don't work summers (I work in a school) and would like to do this while I am off.
