I have a question. How much do you think it affects the pregnancy success if the embryos are frozen vs fresh? I have only ever had fresh transfers, so I am wondering what others have experienced. Thanks.

I have had both.  Both positive 1st try.  I think the only draw back, if that, for an FET is that after they thaw, they have to peel away the dead cells and you lose cells.  Good luck!  I wouldn't think there was THAT big of a difference, but there is a difference.  So, have I confused you too?  LOL!

Good luck!

Hugs,

My Own opinion is fresh is better than frozen any day.

I have done both as a carrier and only gotten ++ beta's with the fresh.

I have four frozen embryos. How do I know how strong they are? I have a little "report card" but do not know how to read it. Does anyone know?

I'm so worried they wont thaw properly!

Don't they grade them?  Like A, B, C, D.  All I know is we had three grade A's(that's the best, I think) for a FET on February 21st, 2005.  They had been frozen for over two years.  All three took hold, but right now I'm 8 weeks pregnant with one healthy viable IUP.  They think the other two sacs are empty.  We have another ultrasound later this week to confirm.  We got a strong little heartbeat of 126 from the one healthy little snowbaby.  I'm so excited to be on this journey with my IP's.  I hope to correspond with some others of you who are on the same road.  Good Luck and God Bless.
