My husband and I had a horrible experience with an egg donation company called Egg Donation, Inc. I would like to share our story with all of you so you will not need to go through the same thing we went through.

We contracted with Egg Donation, Inc. in the summer of 2000 to find an egg donor for us. It took them almost a year to find a person who was willing to donate; all the others we had chosen from their database had refused to donate.

After we had paid over $1,000 for medical screening fees, the donor ED, Inc. matched for us left the country. At that point, we had already paid them in full plus donor's fees and donor's traveling fees. Their director refused to give our money back until we filed a complaint at BBB. But they have never given the matching fee back to us while using many different excuses not to match us with another donor again.

What happened next is really unbelievable. In 2004, we received a Summon from the California Superior Court. That's right, we moved on with our lives and did not sue them to get our money back, but they are suing us for breach of contract. We created a website to tell our story.
